I hope everyone is OK in all this rain, just can't imagine the problem that some people are going through.  I thought that it was meant to be summer, well today it's the Wimbledon Final together with The British Grand Prix, so I'm sorry it looks like no crafting will get done from 12 o'clock!!!

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 5th July - Summer Florals

Hi Everybody,
I hope your well, well this morning I'm off to my Stroke Club this morning, it will be good to see them again as I haven't been for the last 2 weeks as I've been on my Stroke Trial.  There's a lot of information and knowledge I'd pass on.  After this I have to go to the Stroke Trial for my Weekly Follow-up, it's only going to be a half hour appointment so will be home soon.
I went with Mum yesterday about her sight, and she was told that she had Retinal Vein Occlusion, it sounds a lot worse than it is.  Well you have vein's which take blood to the retina, so you can basically see.  Well, my Mum's have got a blockage in therefore that is why she has this dark spot when she sees.  Good news is that she is being treated for it next Wednesday, although I don't fancy the injection she's going to have!!!

Well you would expect it to be Summer by now, but alas it hasn't come to us as yet.  Unless you say the couple of days that we've had is our Summer.  Oh well, it's only a breath away.  The Stroke Trial I was on has now finished, I only go back to check how I'm going, but the physio has finished.  It was really good, and I feel that it has done some good, I will not now until September if I had the real one, oh all this time I have to wait.

Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge - Challenge #12 - 'Up, Up and Away'

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing OK today???  I am fine, I am suffering with a Sumner cold at the moment, and just can't shake it.  I blame my Mum, she had one and passed it over to me, I like to share but something's you just don't share!!!
Well, it's the 1st of the month, gosh isn't the year going fast already, and that means there's another Challenge to Ready-Teddy-Go.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 28th June - 'Sparkle and Shine'

Hi Everyone,
How are you doing today???  The weather has been really nice (for a change!!!), I was saying to you last week that I had been taking part in a Stroke Trial, well today's the last day of being wired up and doing all the exercises, I now have started seeing tiny improvements, only little ones but it's a bonus.  Still have to go for my MRI scan on Friday, this is followed by 3 follow up appointments, but I think it has been successful.  I was also saying about my Mum, that last week we had to go to the Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma appointment, well I can reveal after months / a year of worrying she is now in Remission, you have no idea that the weight has been lifted.
Now, we are looking for a selection of additional DT members to join our expanding challenge blog.What do we ask of our DT members?You will need to produce 1 card per week, you will need to have an updated blog and above all love what we do at Willow Designs.  In particular, we are looking for those crafter's who love to colour!
Willow Designs has been steadily expanding over the last few years and are excited to be exhibiting at our very first Hobbycrafts at Birmingham NEC this November. I hope your OK, I am fine.  This weather is getting me down though, I have had to pull out my old Winter clothes I am so cold.  I wouldn't say anything but a couple of days ago, it was the 1st day of Summer.  Well, they say that it got to get warmer by next week, I hope so.
Well, I have to go to the Sobell House Team's work afternoon tea party, how nice of them to treat their volunteers this way, it's lovely.  I have been a volunteer for 6 months now, and I am really enjoying it, I volunteer on a Tuesday from 10am to 2pm.  It's such good fun.

This morning I have gone to the Stroke Trial at my local hospital, it is where they wire up my brain and then I have to do some hand and arm exercises (my bad arm), I have to do this for 2 weeks, every single day.  I'm not feeling tired or anything yet, and I have seen some improvement, and it's only day 4.  After that we are going to another hospital, for my Mum's hospital appointment, my Mum has Non-Hodgekins Lymphoma, cancer hits everyone we love, lets hope there's no change.
