Willow Sketchie Challenge - 26th July - 'Anything Goes'


Hi Everybody,

I hope that all of you are well, and have not melted in the heat!!!  Oh my gosh isn't it hot, I think at 10 o'clock last night it was still in the 20's.  I know what your going to say but I long for the rain, come back again, please.

Well, it's Thursday and that means it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge.  However, there is a new format that we are now following.  There is a Sketch, however there is also a Theme, now it's your choice as to what one or both you decide to follow. 

But firstly, I must congratulate the Winner of last weeks Challenge, and of course the Top Three, we had loads of really good entries and I really like looking at each of them. I really enjoyed your card / project.  I hope you enjoy you Voucher to spend at Willow Designs.  Congratulations.

Stamp 'n' Doodle - 25th July Challenge - 'Christmas in July'


Hi Everyone,

Can you believe it we have still got my Mum's old dining suite in the hallway, you have to walk sideways down the hall.  Brilliant, the Charity decided that once they got here that it did not have the right fire safety certificates on it, after my Mum actually explained to them and they said all right.  So now my Mum's got to get rid of it, charming!!!

Wow!!!  The heat is unbearable, although it is nice!!!  I never slept last night because of the heat, so I'm a bit tired today.  It made matters worse that I forgot that the roofers were coming today, so I was woken up by them walking across the ceiling, ah it never rains but it pours!!!

Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge - Challenge #116 - Carole's Sketch


Hi Everyone,

What a wonderful day, the sun is shinning, oh it's lovely.  This afternoon we are hoping to go and see my Great Auntie, which shall be so good seeing her at home instead of in the hospital, which is where she has been recently.  My Mum and I are hoping to take her a nice cake, but will have to see if it comes out of the oven all right first!!!  Because we couldn't take a bad one to her, she used to make the 2nd best chocolate cakes, my Nanny made the best chocolate cakes.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 19th July - 'Christmas in July'

I hope you are well???  Well I wrote the other day that I thought summer was coming well I could only get it wrong,and the rain comes.  I'll think I'll give up, so that my career as a weather forecaster gone.

Well, it's Thursday and that means it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge.  However, there is a new format that we are now following.  There is a Sketch, however there is also a Theme, now it's your choice as to what one or both you decide to follow.

My Heart Pieces Digital Stamp Challenge - Challenge #5 - 'Use a CIRCLE or SQUARE on your Card'


Hi Everyone,
  
Wow!!!  It's the 5th Challenge with My Heart Pieces Digital Stamp Challenge, the time just keeps going by.  Anyway, there was so many entries for the last Challenge so I must say thank you for taking the time and taking part in the Challenge, I enjoyed looking at all of them, it was fantastic.  Thank you, the Winner and Top 3 can be found on the My Heart Pieces Blog, so go there and see if it was you. 

Now onto our Challenge, this fortnight we have chosen:

'Use a CIRCLE or SQUARE'

Basically, all you need to do is incorporate a Circles or Squares into your design, whether it be the card itself, or elements you put on the card.  I decided to use Circles on my card, the main Image was cut in to a Circle as was the Sentiment, then a added Circle.  The choice is yours.

Stamp 'n' Doodle - 18th July - 'Summer Holiday'

Hi Everyone,

What a change in the weather, but don't speak to soon.  This morning Mum got her new dining suite, so we've got our old one sitting in the hallway.  It's got to stay there until Friday when Sobell House warehouse are coming to pick it up.  So that's in the hallway as is massive couple of boxes which my Mum's cousin brought for me full of craft items, I went through one box last night, some of the craft items are so good and I can't thank her enough.

Well on with this weeks Challenge.  Wow!!!  Your 'Monochrome' cards were wonderful.  I was amazed by all of those who entered.  I must congratulate the Winner (please see the Stamp 'n' Doodle blog page for details of the Winner).

Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge - Challenge #12 - 'Up, up and Away'


Hi Everybody,

How are you today???  This is a scheduled post because I have gone swimming with the local disabled swimming group.  It's going to weird for me as I used to Lifeguard their sessions, so I know most of the people who go their.  I'm a bit worried because they no that I could get to the deep end in so many seconds, it would now take me minutes.  Oh well, should be fun.

Well, this is a reminder that we are half way through the month (where's July going!!!), so we're half way through the Ready-Teddy- Go Challenge.  Just a reminder what Prizes we have lined up for the Winner this month:

How are you today???  I am fine, well today this is a scheduled post as I've got an interview, it's at the local market, for one of the oldest fruit and vegetable sellers.  The job itself is as a book keeper, now I'm not quite sure what one does, but I've kept my own books and have had to work in a certain level of expenditure.  It's not what I am used to, but then again who is going to want a Manager of a Leisure Centre to b like me.  Oh well, it's time for a change.

Stamp 'n' Doodle - July 11th Challenge - 'Monochrome'


Hi Everyone,

I hope your feeling OK is this horrible weather, I can't believe we're having so much rain.  What I will give for a nice warm summer, it doesn't have to be hot just nice and warm so you don't have to wear rain macs or your winter coat, please!!!  This is a scheduled post, well it's meant to be, as I'm up at the hospital as my Mum is having her eye sorted, she has Retinal Vein Occlusion, she is going to have to have her eye injected with this stuff, what am I doing at this time, I'm getting a Coffee.  Can't stand seeing an eye injected, yuk!!!
