Tuesday Morning Sketches - #111

Hi All,

Well I decided to stay indoors today, after yesterday's little dramas.  Also it gave me time to do things for Design Teams that I'm in.  I also had to do a Tuesday Morning Sketch.

And here it is.

The Image is a Sugar Nellie Cherry Pip and Friends, I thought it would go really well. it was coloured in in Pro-markers and finished off with a Glittery Pen.  The Design Papers I used are from Little Bratz range.  I then used the flowers and cut the two leaves out of a Woodware punch.  I used another Martha Stewart punch to punch the boarder.

Then I placed a Sentiment Stamp which came from Hunkydory.

I would like to enter this in to Tuesday Morning Sketches - #111

Well bye!!

Sketch n Stash - Challenge 70 - Free Choice

Hi All,

My gosh, isn't it windy outside?  I went down the Parade this morning, and my gosh really surprised I didn't get blown over, I had to stop a couple of times in order to regain my balance.  Wow!!

Well I'm back in the warm comfort of my home (actually's my Mum's home) now and lets get on with today's challenge and boy did Sketch n Stash make it fun.  We had to pick which sketch we would like to have a go at, and so I picked their number 16.

/

Well onto my card.

For the Image on this card I chose a Pink Gem Designs one, a Goodnight Mrs Hoot one.  It is coloured in in Pro-markers, and highlighted in Glitter.  The Design Papers I am afraid I can't remember where they came from.  I added a piece of Ribbon.  My Stash item has to be my Sentiment, they were brought years ago, so I thought I would use them.

Then I added the Flowers, how lovely if I do say so.

I would like to put this forward for Sketch 'n' Stash - Challenge 70 - Free Choice

Well I'm off, hope the weather gets better.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Challenge #72 Donna's Sketch

Hi Everyone,

It's Sunday morning (well the afternoon now, but only 19 minutes in), there's a F1 race on in a minute, fashion on the other side.  I don't know what to watch, oh!!

Well on with the card, I chose to do Sunday Sketch & Stamp.  So I guess lets get on with it!!!

Here's my card:

For the Image I chose to do a Housemouse, ah so sweet.  I coloured in with Pro-markers and finished it off with a little bit of Glitter!!  The Design Papers were from Anita's Classic Christmas Blue Papers, they are flat papers and so I got them to be dotty, by placing them in a folder and running it through the Big Shot.  I added a Sentiment and also a Ribbon which were both from my Stash.

I also put some Card Candy from Craftwork Cards on to the finished card, lovely I think!!

I would like to put this forward for Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Challenge #72 Donna's Sketch

Well off I go to get hold of the remote control and flick!!!

I thought that for this Challenge I would do an Edwin from Magnolia Image, this was then coloured in in Pro-markers and finished of with a Glittery Pen.  The Design Papers are from Papermania - Temptations.  The Ribbon is from my Stash.  Then I just added a Sentiment.

I then added some Buttons, these are so old but have to thank my Mum for being such a horder.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 8th September

Hi All,

Gosh, is that the day already, where are the days going, ruining the best days of my life??  Kids are now back at School, there are Christmas things in the shops, gosh I just don't know where this year has gone. I just want to congratulate the Winner of last weeks Challenge, Phillipa.  Your card was beautiful, as were they all, but there can only be one winner.

Anyway it's Thursday and that means it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge.

We have another newbie who is joining us, her name is Claire, and I know you will be kind to her.  Well this week we were working to Claire's great Sketch and also using Keeping Warm Image which is available from Willow Designs.  And this is Claire's fantastic Sketch.

And here is my card.

The Image used was Keeping Warm from Willow Designs, you get both the pre-coloured one as well as one which is the line drawing.  I chose to use the pre-coloured version.  Which was finished off with Glitter!!  The Design Papers I've had for a long time, so sorry I can't remember.  The circle was pre-cut and the Snowflakes were made with the punch.

A close up version of the Snowflakes, with a Gem in the centre to finish it off.

Remember you need to post it on the Willow Sketchie Challenge blogspot.  You can Rotate the Design but we must see the original design.  You don't have use a Willow Sketchie picture, we just like to see them.

Well now it's up to you.

Please leave a comment, as I would love to here from you.

Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge - Challenge # 2 - Autumn Colours

Hi All,

Can you believe it, it's September already. I think I totally missed August, it went so quick. But that means it's time for another Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge, this time we have had to work in Autumn colours, I really enjoyed it, maybe that's my favourite colour now.

Congratulations Jill on your win, the prize was fantastic. We thank you for picking Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge, we had a great deal of entries for are first challenge, please come back and maybe try for this prize!!

The prize is an 'Autumn Goody Bag' and it has been supplied by Mei Flower On-Line Store, so take a look. There are lots of goodies for you to look at.

On with the prize, as previously mentioned it's a goody bag of Autumn Colours, wonderful I suppose I will have to take a look at her store being as I not allowed to enter, boo hoo!!

Well anyway it's on with my card:

Lots of Autumn Colours!! The Image I used was Teddy Bea, I had one with her dressed as a sunflower, and there are some around!! This was a pre-coloured image so of course I didn't have to do anything, cheat! I picked browns and yellows, for the Design Paper, I used stuff from my Stash, I can't remember where any of my paper is from, but it never came telling me, I can tell you that much. I then used some Ribbons, from QVC and Flowers from QVC to decorate. I also added a Sentiment from Woolly Bears. And what I did to finish was put a Watering Can charm on, I thought that fitted with the whole theme.

This is a close up of the flower for you too look at.

That's it from me, please check out the DT Members for her take on the 'Autumn Colours' theme, there great. Now it's over to you!!!

Don't forget to put it on the Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge site so we all can have a look, and leave us a comment, we like to read what you have got to say about our designs.

And the main thing HAVE FUN!!!!

This week the Design Team have been working with Happy Christmas to Yoo Hoo! which can be found on the website.

So on to my card.

The Image I used for my card, was like I mentioned before Happy Christmas to Yoo Hoo!, you can get both a pre-coloured one and a plain one. I chose to use the pre-coloured one, finished off with Glitter. I can't remember where I got my Design Papers from, so sorry! I wrapped ribbon around one part of it to define it, my ribbon came from Create and Craft.

Just to finish off I stuck a big Gem on, in the right colour.

Now it's your turn to get Crafty!!!

Don't forget we would love to see Willow Designs pictures, but any will do!! You can twist the Sketch but we must see the original design. And most importantly post it on the Willow Sketchie Challenge

Most importantly have fun.
