Sketch 'n' Stash - Challenge 69

Hi All,

Hope you are well and enjoying the Bank Holiday. Ok it could be better weather, but at least it's not raining!!!

Well on with my card, this time I decided to do the Sketch 'n' Stash Challenge, So on with the card and here it is:


The Image is NEW it's a Gorjuss Girl, oh I think they are lovely. It's coloured in in Pro-markers and finished off with just a little bit of Glitter!! The Design Papers are my STASH item. I added the Ribbon on as I did with the Sentiment, but I moved it I really hope they don't mind.

I also added Flowers, they all have Brads that I put in, 2 Button and 1 Plain. I used my Woodware Punch for the leaves.

I would like to place this in the Sketch 'n' Stash - Challenge 69

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - 70 - Claire's Sketch

Hi All,

Having a further problem today, what with the internet not working, my camera has gone up the creek. So you'll have to excuse my photography as am having to do it with my phone. Oh well these things are sent to try us. On with today's challenge Sunday Sketch and Stamp I seem to do this each week!!

Well onto my card.



The Image I chose was a Housemouse one, I love these. The colouring in is done with Pro-markers. The Design Papers were from a bundle that Mum found in her shed. I added a piece of Ribbon to keep it all tied together.

My embellishment came from a local craft shop, I got it a year ago.

Well I guess I need to sort out the things playing havoc!!!

The Sweet Stop Challenge - SSS123

Hi All,

This I promise should be my last!! This one I'd thought I'd put into The Sweet Shop Challenge.




The Image I chose for this one was from the Tilda range, she looks so sweet. She is coloured in in Pro-markers and finished off with Glitter!! The Design Papers that I chose her to go with are from that bundle my Mum brought from Create and Craft. I added a Sentiment which was from my Stash. I also added a Ribbon which was from my Stash also.

I then added some flowers which were also from my Stash.

Sketch Saturday - Week #170 - 27th August

Hi All,

It's only me again, found it easier to make all my cards and then blog them. This one is for Sketch Saturday and here is my card:



The Image I chose for this one was one from Fuzzy Moon Bears, I think they are so sweet. The colouring in was Pro-markers. The Design Papers were from My Mind's Eye. I used a Martha Stewart Punch to punch the card on the outside of the paper.

I chose to add Flowers, which were made of Ribbon, these were from QVC.

I'd like to put this into the Sketch Saturday - Week #170 - 27th August

Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge - Challenge 44 - A Sketch

Hi All,

I'm on here again, sat on the stairs!!! Well this card was meant to be posted yesterday, but what with problems with the internet, I gave up. Now I thought I might try Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge, they had a sketch that we had to follow, which is the easiest so I thought that I might have a go.

Here's my card:



The Image which I chose was a lovely Sarah Kay, I do like these. Coloured in using Pro-markers and finished off with Glitter! The Design Papers which I used all came from My Minds Eye - Bohemia. The base cared is from my own Stash. I used a Ribbon from my Stash.

Finally I added a Sentiment which was computer generated and also some flowers, with different brads.

My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges - Challenge 20 - Sketch

Hi All,

I'm back, time for another. While searching the web I came across a new site, to me, it's called My Mum's Craft Shop Challenges. So I thought why not give it a go.

So here's my card:


The Image I chose for this one was a Freebie its from Sliekjes Digi Stamps, she draws for free she just asks that we say it was her. I think her drawings are really worth having a look, I think there brilliant. Well it was called Fairy with Wand, fantastic, I chose to colour it in with Polychromos and then blended with Sansodor, and finished off with Glitter!! The Design Papers were from my Craft Box. The Sentiment was one I brought ages ago, and it matched in with the card. The Gems I used were also from my Craft Box.

Finally I used some of my new little Ribbon Roses which I got from QVC, with the leaves which were punched by my Woodware Punch.

Cute Card Thursday - Challenge 179 - Sketch Time!

Hi All,

I have finally got on here, but I am attached!! So that means being cold in the hallway, oh well I'll be very quick. This was meant to be on here yesterday, so excuse me. I looked around on the websites and came up with this one for Cute Card Thursday.

So this is my card.


The Image I had chosen to use was a Tilda, which was coloured in with Pro-markers and then finished off with a bit of glitter. I decided to cut her out and brought in a bench, which was also cut out. The Design Papers were from my Stash as was the grey card which it was layer on to. I added a circle which was already cut out, but I did want it to have a Christmassy feel, so I put it in a folder and then ran it the a Die Cutting Machine. I finally added a Sentiment to finish with.

Here you can see the tiny embellishments I used, I used 4 Gems (same the other side) and layered them onto the card.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 25th August

Hi All,

Gosh it's Thursday already, that means it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge. Pauline is our host this week, she is another newbie like me, so I'm sure your be nice.

She came up with this Sketch for you to try.



The Image that the Design Team used was Dear Santa from the Willow Designs and this is my card.



The Image is Dear Santa, this is a very good download as you get a pre-coloured version together with one that you can colour. I chose to use the Pre-coloured version, but finished mine off with Glitter!! The Design Papers came The Stamping Boutique from Kanban, they were on a disc, so I printed off the Christmas ones. I chose to use a Martha Stewart punch and punched out one of the pieces of paper, to give it some difference, I then wrapped a piece of ribbon around it. The Sentiment is a Peel Off which I had in my Craft Box.

I chose that I wanted something big in the way of decoration, so my Mum had these that were meant to go on Crackers, so I used that.

You'll need to visit the other team members to see what they came up with.

It's up to you now, go on give it a go.

I'm back with this little number, it's my second post (really my first) for today. I decided to do the Sweet Sketch Wednesday Sketch.

This is my card:



The Image is so sweet, It's Sugar Nellie Cherry Pip, I love it, it's so cute. Anyway finished off with Pro-markers and Glitter!! The Design Papers are from my Mum when she brought a pack off of QVC. The Ribbon was purchased off of Create and Craft. I then added a Sentiment.

To finish with I then added some Flowers which came from Create and Craft.

Tuesday Morning Sketches - #108

Hi All,

I should of posted this yesterday, but I think I was having one of those days. I had to go to the hospital, it's ok, I'm fine just a routine appointment.

Anyway onto the card.




The Image I decided to use for this particular challenge was one from Willow Designs. It's called Keeping Warm. I decided to use this as it was small enough to be cut into the design. The Design Paper comes from a mini book that I had, so I don't know who it is from. The Embellisments came from a local shop. The Sentiment I had before, so a good opportunity to use it.



I used a Ribbon which was from my Stash.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Challenge #69 - Barbara's Sketch

Hi Everyone,

It's me again, well on with Sunday's Challenge, no sitting around with glitter free fingers. Today I am going to enter Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Well enough of the chit chatting and here is my card.



Well the Image, I had to use a Sarah Kay image so absolutly lovely. Again it's coloured in in Pro-markers and finished off with Glitter!!! The Design Papers came from my Stash. The Tag came from Inspiration, Tag Book 1. But the Sentiment came from The Stamping Boutique from Kanban. The Ribbon came from Create and Craft.

The Flowers came from Create and Craft and the Leaves were stamped out using my Woodware Punch.

Sketch Saturday - Week #169 - 20 August

It's only me again, it's ok I'll be leaving soon!!! This time it's my second post of today, I love this colour, need to stop making purple (note to self....). This one is for Sketch Saturday, I do like doing these.

I then added some flowers, which came from Create and Craft with myself putting a Brad though from my Stash

The Sweet Stop - Challenge SSS122

Hi All,

It's only me, I made these two cards before 11am so was really up for it, but putting them on the computer takes me ages. Well I'm on here so you get to see one of the cards I made. This one is for The Sweet Stop, well onto my card.

Here it is.



For the Image I used a Sassy looking Ms Anya, it was coloured in in Pro-markers and finished off with Glitter!! The Design Paper was from my Stash, the Green Circle was pre-punched and so all I did was run it through the Big Shot in an evelope to get the dotty. The Sentiment Was added. The added Spin to the card was too include some Fabulous Fibres, thats where my Ribbon comes in.

The Spin can also take note of my Flowers, as they were designed to be paper so you can pull them.

Well I'd like to put this through for The Sweet Shop - Challenge SSS122

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 18th August

Hi All,

It's Thursday, and that means it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge. The person heading the challenge this week is the lovely Lisa. You can flip the sketch or rotate the sketch. And here is her lovely sketch.

This week the image to be used was Missy, such a fun digital download (although colouring had to be done!!). Not only did Lisa have the sketch but she also had a recipe for us to follow, she wanted us to: Add some Shimmer and Sparkle, Add something Floral and finally to Add something Yellow.

She really made me think to do my card. And here it is.

The Image was Missy and it was coloured in with Polychromos and blended with Sansodor and finished off with a little bit of Glitter and Gems!! The Design Papers were from Papermania - Temptations, the main backing Design Paper I can't remember where that came from. The Card came from my Stash. Then I added a Sentiment, it came from Wooly Bears which is Kanbans.

I finally added some Flowers, I got these from a local shop. The Gems round her neck, looked lovely as are the ones on her dress and bag were coloured using Pro-markers.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - #115-64

Hi All,

What have I done today? Um!!! Made a card. I didn't have to go down the road today, I actually went yesterday, so did everything a day earlier. Well this morning I made a card, I went onto Sweet Sketch Wednesday, they had a lovely sketch on there, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Here is my card.



The Image I used was from Kanban, and it was called Woolly Bears. Really sweet design, I coloured them in with Polychromos and blended with Sansodor, and I added a touch of Glitter. The Design Papers came from my Mum, so sorry don't know what their called, they either came from QVC or Create and Craft. I used a Martha Stewart punch, which was called Holidays to Punch Around the Page. And then finally I added a Sentiment.

I also added a Ribbon, which I got from QVC and it came this week. I tied the Ribbon and added a Charm and also a Punched out Snowflake with a Gem.

I would like to put this card into Sweet Sketch Wednesday - #115-64

Tuesday Morning Sketches - # 107

Hi All,

Well it's Tuesday afternoon and I'm here with a card, this is for Tuesday Morning Sketches, and it also had a recipe, you had to use Blue, Green and White. On to my card.

Here it is.



The Image is a lovely Forever Friends one, it was great colouring it in. I coloured it in in Pro-markers which was really easy. The Design Paper that I used for this, I've been waiting ages to use this paper and I think it really suited this, so sorry I can't remember what it is called. The next thing was a circle, I was going to cut one out, but I came across some which were previously cut out, I just ran it through Big Shot making it raised.

Then I just added Ribbon and tied a Bow.

It's me again, Monday morning and I have a card for you. I was looking on the web and Sketch 'n' Stash just stuck out and I thought must do a card.

So here it is:


The Image I chose to do for this challenge was a Gorjuss Girl, I think it's a sign a the British weather!!! Anyway it's coloured in in Pro-markers and finished with just a bit of Glitter! The Design Papers are from Papermania Easter Themes pack and also from Kanban Patchwork Pals. The card just happens to be from my Stash. I also added a Ribbon, which is from my Stash.

I finally added some Paper Flowers.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - #68 - Sarah's Sketch

Hi Everyone,

How are you doing this Sunday? I hope you are well and enjoying yourselves. I think my problems with the Internet are finally over (don't say anything!!), and now I can post things and comment without having to sit on the bottom stair getting cold!!!

So here goes, I made a card this morning it is for Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Here is my card.....




The Image I chose to do one of the Creeper Crew, very nice. The image is coloured in in Pro-markers and finished off with you guessed it Glitter!!! The Design Papers are from My Minds Eye - Bohemia, I thought they were lovely. I put a Ribbon around it and Paper Flowers were from my Stash. The Sentiment was part of the Creeper Crew.

The Bow was from a local store, I thought it went really well.

The Design Papers are from Papermania, they are both in the Heather range, they are Polka and also Gingham. The Ribbon is from my Stash as is the Flower.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 11th August

Hi All,

Its Thursday, and that means it's one of two things, firstly it's nearly the weekend and more importantly it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge. This one has been set by Kate, she's another newbie, so be kind to her.

This is her Sketch.

The Design Team, this week have been using the Image I Love Chocolate digital stamp, it's available from Willow Designs Website. You get one image that is coloured in, and one for you to colour. It's fantastic to colour in.

Well this is my card.

I decided that I would use the Image which was already coloured in, but highlighted it by useing, you've guessed it Glitter!!! The Design Papers they are from my Craft Box, and so really sorry I can't remember. I added a Ribbon, which is available from the Glitter Girls, and also a Gem. The Flowers I added them from my Craft Box, I think they look great. The Sentiment is computer generated because I wanted something with chocolate in it

Here is a close up of the little Gem, the Ribbon and a Flower.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sweet Sketch 114

Hi All,

These have been busy days, today it was a trip to the hospital, everything is fine I just have to keep going the way I have. Which I have to say I was very pleased and I'll see that Doctor in a years time.

I decided that I had to get a card done today and I chose todo one from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

So here is my card.



Firstly, I chose to do my Image, I have no idea where this Image came from but it was laying at the bottom of my craft box, so I thought it had to go. The Image is coloured in in Pro-markers and finished off with a touch of glitter. My Design Papers came from my Stash. I used a Martha Stewart Punch for the punch outs. I then added a Sentiment and a bow from my Stash.

I then added some flowers from my Stash.

Tuesday Morning Sketches - Week 106

Hi All,

I'm back with a card to show you, this card I made for Tuesday Morning Sketches, as one of their challenges.

So here is the card.




This card was extremely easy to make, first of all my Image was a Sugar Nellie one really very sweet. It is coloured in with Pro-markers. The Design Papers were from Create and Craft, I only used one can't remember the name of it. There is also lace used in the Sentiment. The Sentiment itself is new and comes from Kanban.

I then added some of my flowers from my craft box.

Sketch Saturday - Week 167 - Terry's DT Week

Hi All,

A little less stressful than yesterday, so I was able to get a card ready. It's for Sketch Saturday.

So here it is.



First the Image, I chose to do a Tilda from Magnolia, very sweet. She is coloured in in Pro-markers (sorry, no glitter!!). The Design Papers are from Anita's Classic Christmas Blue Papers. I did a couple of Snowflakes out of the paper with a Woodware Punch. All the Gems are from my Stash.

The Ribbon is from my Stash and so is the little Christmas Tree.
