Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Challenge 66 - Sam's Sketch

Hi All,

I've been a buy girl today, I started off by doinga DT card for Willow Sketchie (so you'll have to wait to see that!!!). Then my Mum's friend came and she drove (I miss driving, hopefully not too long now!) me to my house. Then I had time to make a card for Sunday Sketch & Stamp.

Here is the card.



The Image I chose to use was a Fizzy Moon image, so sweet. He/She is coloured in using Pro-markers (sorry no glitter this time!!). The card came from my own stash and the Design Papers came from a magazine and were free. There are Gems which happen to be my favourite on the top and came from my stash. I also added a touch of Grosgrain Ribbon.

This shot looks at how cute the bear is, so sweet.

Sketch Saturday - Week 166 - 30th July

Hi All,

I've had a busy day today making DT cards, but you'll have to wait to see them!!! But I have managed to do a card for a Challenge, it's Sketch Saturday. So here goes.

This is my card.



The Image I chose to do for this one is a Housemouse one, I really love these they are so nice, it is coloured in using Pro-markers. The Design Paper is from Anita's Classic Christmas Blue Papers, the Silver Card is from my Stash. The Ribbon is from my Stash also.

The Sentiment was a free one, I think with Housemouse Images you need some kind of fun, and I think this one does exactly that. The Snowflakes are punched out from my Stash, and again a small Gem was fixed in the centre of each one.

Some More Exciting News!!!

Hi All,

Sorry no card, but I do have some exciting news to share with you. I've been picked to be a Design Team Member for a new and exciting Challenge, called Ready-Teddy-Go.

Ready-Teddy-Go is a monthly Challenge, and its open to everyone, as long as you use a Teddy Bear or Bear of some sorts.

The Challenge starts on the 1st August, so all I can say is visit Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 28th July

Hi All,

I love Thursday's, it's nearly the weekend but more importantly, it's time for a new Willow Sketchie Challenge. Congratulations to the winner of last weeks Challenge, the card was lovely.

On with the Challenge, we are happy to have Shell with us (another newbie like me!) and she has done the most delightful sketch for us to follow and develop are cards on.


From Shell's design here is my card.

It's fantastic from her design I crafted my own take on it. The Image I used was Precious from the Willow Designs, more importantly I didn't have to colour it in. If you purchase it from the website you get a black and white version together with a coloured in image. The Design Papers I used from my stash, the one with Precious on you can get from Willow Designs as well.

I chose to add some of my own embellishments, firstly there is the Ribbon which I thought went really well with this card. I also found within my craft stash the little crown, you can't read it but written on it is Princess.

Finally I added some flowers which I think look great.

Sorry for not having a card for the last couple of days, I have been busy working on my DT cards but your have to come back and see them. Well today's card is for Sweet Sketch Wednesday.

Well first of all the image is a lovely Gorjuss Girl, really sweet, she is coloured in using Pro-markers and finished off with glitter. The Design Papers are from my stash, so sorry I can't tell you. I added a ribbon, lace and also a flower. The gems are also from my stash.

Anniversary Card for My Friend

Hi All,

Sorry no card yet!! I just thought I would show you the Anniversary Card that I made for my friend, it is their 2nd Anniversary. My friend has been there for me every step of the way throughout the Stroke. She even took the time to come and see me during the first week, not much sense from me on that part!!


I now no the friends I had before my Stroke, all went running for the hills after.

Julie has been my friend for the whole of my life, 36 years, she is always there for me. I never made it to the Wedding two years ago, through my work. But you know who your friends are.

Well it's Sunday today and the weather is so much better, I think its time to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. But first let me tell you about my card, I've decided to enter this into Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

Sketch Saturday - Sketch 165 - 23 July

Hi All,

It's only me again, with the second of my posts today. Which means I did manage to get two cards done, within me extremly busy day!!! The card this time is for Sketch Saturday.

And so onto my card.


The Image I chose todo this time was a bear which I got off of Beccy's Place she is the finest of artists, whose drawings are lovely. Visit her web page your be amazed what you find. The image was coloured in a few months ago, but it was coloured in using polychromos blended with sansodor, and finished off with you guessed it, glitter. The Design Papers I'm sorry they were bought so long ago. The Sentiment was computer generated. I also added some flowers.



You can see what a fine artist Beccy is.

The Sweet Stop - SSS118 - July 23

Hi All,

Well what has today brought? A bit of rain, a bit of dry weather and now we're coming to the end of the day and the sun is out. I've been really busy and not achieving much again, sitting quietly in my craft room. Seems that everyone has gone on their summer holidays, and my Mum's house is the only one thats got someone in. Oh well, now lets get on with my card for The Sweet Shop. It kind of turned out a bit small, but then I can't blame the Digi-Stamp, can I?

Anyway here we go.




Well the stamp that I chose to use was on that I got free for winning a competition, it came from The Stamping Boutique, you really need to visit the site for such pretty images. The Image is coloured in using Pro-markers, and finished of with, yeah you guessed it glitter. The Design Papers came from I think it was called SWALK, but no promises. I used a MS punch on a bit of white card. The buttons I got were brought from a cheap store yesterday when I went to Oxford,

The Gem was brought from the same cheap store I visited on Friday, the Ribbon was from Glitter Girls.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch 111 with Digi Stamp Boutique

Hi All,

Well today has been busy, first I set something to load at a particular time and it didn't upload, so I had to upload it myself (probably doing something wrong). I was then picked up to go to the hospital, very interesting session this week, lol. So basically this is the first time I have managed to get on the laptop. Well I came across Sweet Sketch Wednesday, and I thought I'd give it a try.

So here's my card,


The Image I used for this card, was a Hanglar Stanglar one which was coloured with Pro-markers and finished off with Glitter!! The Design Paper came from the box of paper thar my Mum brought, so sorry no names. The Sentiment came from Kanban. I added some ribbon which came from the Glitter Girls and some Ric-Rac from my stash

I then added some flowers, which had been crochet, though not by me (have you seen the one armed person doing crochet). I will have to learn one day.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 21st July

Hi All,

Well the day has come for me to join a team, I'm so excited by the whole fact. The day came round really quickly (even though it was a week earlier than I was supposed to start), my card was made and I was raring to go. So this week I'm not entering the Willow Sketchie Challenge, I'm taking part in it instead.

So here goes, the Sketch was done by the lovely Lis-m, it's a fantastic sketch. Why don't you visit her and the rest of the team as well.

From this beautiful Sketch, I prepared my Card.

The Image that I chose to do was Precious, by Willow Sketchie Designs, it was really good and for me it already came coloured in. So that was a bonus. The Design Papers came from the box that my Mum brought recently. The Sentiment was from Stamp Boutique at Kanban. Gems came from my Stash.

I love putting flowers on and this one it was requirement, sorry but I can't remember where they came from.

Tuesday Morning Sketches - Challenge 103

Been really busy but I managed to get two cards made today, so this is my second post for today.


The Image I chose was a Sassy Miss Anya, coloured in using Pro-markers and highlighted using Glitter (yeah!!). The Design Paper is a mixture of some that my Mum brought and My Minds Eye - Bohemia. The Sentiment came from Kanban, the big Swirl came free with some think, sorry I can't remember. I added gems from my stash.

I also added some ribbon from my stash and did a lovely bow

Digital Tuesday Challenge - Challenge 120 Sketch by Natascha

Hi All,

I have been a busy girl this morning, looking back achieving very little. Do you have days like that?? Oh well onto todays challenges, this one is for Digital Tuesday Challenge.


The Image that I chose to use was from Beccy's Place, her site on the web is fantastic, I think you really ought to visit it. She is a great artist and her colouring in in fantastic. The Design Papers are a combination of the pack that my Mum brought, and also My Minds Eye - Bohemia. The Sentiment came from Kanban. I added a ribbon and some gems which were from my stash.

The flowers were added (but no glitter!!!), it is a combination of flowers as I am running out. You can see from this that Beccy's colouring in is fantastic.

Incy Wincy Designs - Challenge 103 - Black / White + An Other & Sketch 'n' Stash - Challenge 66 - Sketch

Hi All,

Today I thought that I might do something different, if you have noticed on earlier posts, I have only one challenge per post. Well today I have two challenges, so this post covers two. Incy Wincy Design - Black, White + An Other and also Sketch 'n' Stash - Sketch, so that's good.

So on with the card.



Firstly, the Image I chose to do was Tilda from Magnolia, the challenge said Black, White and An Other and this is where I thought I could introduce a coloured as I coloured in her skin. The Design Papers I got from the CD you got with some stamps, it is by Kanban and is called Stamp Boutique, I had a great deal to look through, 250, in total, but I was only after the black and white ones. These were all matted a layered onto black card. I added a Sentiment again with the black card for a background. I added a pink ribbon from my old stash.

I'd also put some Pink Flowers on it I think they look good.

I can say that I have not stopped smiling since I won, talk about happy. Well this time I'll try again, you never know might win again!!! This one is for Sunday Sketch and Stamp.

The Image I have used was a Sarah Kay Image, I love using these, they have got so much detail on them. The Image is coloured in using Pro-markers and Glitter!!! The Design Papers are from My Minds Eye - Bohemia, and from the box that my Mum brought. I added a Sentiment which I thought set the tone for the card.

I chose to add flowers to the card, which I think is what the card needed.

The Sweet Stop - SSS117 - July 16

Hi Everyone,

It's only me, I'm back with another card. Well it's stopped raining, and the sun is shining so the days getting better as we speak.

This card is for The Sweet Stop and here it is.


The Image is from Janet at Pink Gem it's a fantastic image, but then she does do some great images, go to her website and see. The Design Papers are from Kanban, I had a CD with all the pages on. I decided to layer them onto silver paper. The Sentiment is also from Kanban.

I then decided to add a flower, a Pointsetta and some ribbon (sorry my camera seems to be playing up, more likely is operator!!!).

Sketch Saturday - Week 164 - 16th July

Hi All,

My is it a wet one where you are? Its been pouring down here, ever since I got up. It makes you think what would of happened if I'd of stayed in bed?? My Mum thinks that we've had our summer.

Well if I stayed in bed I wouldn't of played with this one, it for Sketch Saturday. I hope you like it.

The Sugar Bowl - Challenge 64 - Kiki's Sketch

Hi All,

This is today's post, now today I have been working hard on trying to clean the craft room, it hasn't gone down too well as I haven't actually managed to move anything. Sorry crafty things got in the way!!!

Well on with todays entry. It is for The Sugar Bowl and so here is my card.


The image that I used was a Sarah Kay image, gosh these are really good. It is coloured in using Pro-markers and finished off with, yep you've guessed it GLITTER!!! The Design Papers are from my Stash, as it my bit of lace, sorry but I didn't read the blog better so haven't got ay true lace on it. I added a ribbon and gems at the end.

I also added some flowers, and I think they go quite well, the mixture of white and yellow. I also added a butterfly, I think it looks great.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 14th July

Hi All,

This is a card I made yesterday and I ran out of time to upload it, so many things were happening. I had to make the journey down the road and do the fortnightly shop and I was totally shattered, so sorry no card until today. This one is for Willow Sketchie Challenge.

Here's the card.

The Image is from Magnolia, it has been coloured with Pro-markers, and finished off with you guessed it that lovely product Glitter!!! The Silver card is from my stash and the other Design Paper came from Create and Craft, but it was not labelled in the box. The ribbon was from my stash, as it was only small amount there is no more left of that coloured now. Again I added a Sentiment.

I followed the Sketch correctly and just put what was on it.

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - 110

Hi its only me,

Its me again, with another post. It is freezing here, the heating has broken down and we are waiting for the Gas Man. While I was looking on the blogs I came across the Challenge for Sweet Sketch Wednesday, I thought it was such a nice sketch that I thought I would enter.


The Image that I used was Cute Whimsical Animals, I couldn't help using it. It was coloured in using Pro-markers. The Design Papers came from Create and Craft in a box my Mum had!!! I decided to go around the Image with the ribbon, and I also added a Sentiment.

I had to take another photo just to prove I glittered the image.

Truly Scrumptious - Challenge 61 - Sketch Time

Hi Everyone,

It's been a good day here, weather could be better, but then then thats always the case, well it seems to be recently!!! Well this morning, I was blog hopping and I came across Truly Scrumptious - Challenge 61 - Sketch Time. So I thought I might enter.

Here's my card.


The Image that I used was from Creeper Crew, and it has a Sentiment with it, so I thought that its all sorted. The image is coloured in with Pro-markers. I thought about doing it in natural colours so the Design Papers came from Papermania Temptations. And just to finish off I used a piece of lace, which a friend gave me.

I glittered it all, but you can't see it very well, oh well!

Incy Wincy Designs - Challenge 102 - Sketch

Hi All,

How are you feeling today?? I had my visit from the Stroke Association today, just really a catch up since the last time, as I am not sure I had anything new to tell her. Back to the routine, Incy Wincy Designs are having a design challenge again, this time it's a Sketch, I think I might enter.

Here's what I thought might fit.



The Image came from a set of Personal Impressions, coloured in using Pro-markers and finished off with a bit of glitter!!! The Design Papers are from Create and Craft, sorry there was no name to them. The Sentiment was from Kanban, you have just go to love them. I used a MS punch to create a wave.


I finished up adding the bow and flowers.

Sunday Sketch and Stamp - Week 63 - Marie's Sketch

Hi All,

It's such a lovely day here, not to hot but not to cold, in other words just right. It's a wonderful day for crafting. But things went wrong as my printer has broken and so no printer, well if you try and pick it up, with one arm working, guess its going to happen.

Anyway, lets get on with today's card. I would like to enter this into Sunday Sketch & Stamp as I saw there was a challenge. And so here's my card.


The image I've used is Gorjuss Girls, it is such fun to work with these images. It is coloured in using Pro-markers and finished off with glitter (as if you couldn't guess!!!). The Design Papers are from Create and Craft. I used a MS punch in order to punch out the heart. The ribbon and lace are from my home stash. The Sentiment is from Cuddly Buddly.

I used bigger flower today, as my flowers seem to be getting low. They seem to fit, what do you think???

The Sweet Stop - SSS116 July 9

Hi All,

It's only me, again!! I'm here with the second (and at the moment my last!) posting, and my second card. The design came from The Sweet Stop, I do hope they accept it as I moved the Sentiment.

Lets see if you like this one, here is the card:



The image was a free one that came on a magazines, it's called Woodland Folk and comes from docrafts, I think it is so cute. The Design Paper, ribbon and flowers all came from ever growing stash box. I really should keep a note of the stuff that's in there. The Sentiment came from the Woodland Folk again.

I added some flowers, these are soon running out!!

Sketch Saturday - Week 163 9th July

Hi All,

I've got some great news, my Digi's that I won came through from Crafts 4 Eternity and they look fantastic, can't wait to start playing with them. Well anyway back on to today's challenges, the first one is from Sketch Saturday. I love doing the Sketch challenges!!

Well onto my card, and here it is:


The image is Uptown Angel and it's from Kenny K, it is coloured in using Polychromos and blended using Sansador, finish off with you've guessed it some Glitter!! The Design Paper was what my Mum brought and it came with no name, so sorry about that. I used lace on the top of the card and that was from my Mum's sewing room. The ribbon was also in my stash.

I added flowers together with the Sentiment.
