Fab 'n' Funky Challenges - Challenge #110 - 'Lets Leap into Action'

Hi Everybody,

Well it's Wednesday morning and you know what that means, there's a new Fab 'n' Funky Challenge due to start.  What a great effort from everyone to do the Colour Challenge of Blue, Green and White. Stamp 'n' Doodle - 'Lets see Embossing of any Kind'

I hope you are all taking it easy, I know for a fact I am!!!  I just wondered if anyone knows why we have such warm and sunny weather on a weekend, this is then followed by the most drab, dark week.  Oh well, it's the excuse for lots of Crafting!!!

Firstly I must congratulate the Winner (see the Stamp 'n' Doodle blogspot for details), it such a shame that we can't have more winners.  But I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for joining in, I had so much fun looking at your entries.

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 23rd February


Hi Everyone,

I hope your all OK, and that you have spent a lovely week.  My weeks been lovely, I spent the day on Tuesday working as a volunteer at our local Sobell House shop, they do such amazing work and it's nice to see people.  I really like it, makes my week.  The other thing which makes my week is the meeting (well kind of!!!) that I've been at today, it's a Stroke Club.  I really enjoy it to go somewhere where people have been through what I have, it's great.

Today's Thursday, and that means it's another Willow Sketchie Challenge.  But firstly, I must congratulate the Winner of last weeks Challenge, we had loads of really good entries and I really like looking at each of them, so thank you.  So the Winner of last weeks Challenge was (drum roll) ...........Jemimas Gem's (no 6).  I really enjoyed your card / project.  I hope you enjoy you Voucher to spend at Willow Designs.  Congratulations.

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Challenge #109 - "Green, White and Blue"


Hi Everyone,

Well it's Wednesday morning and you know what that means, there's a new Fab 'n' Funky Challenge due to start.  What a great effort from everyone to try something new. I thought today I would make a Card from a disk my Mum bought for me, the disk is called 'Horrice & Friends', it is by Fee J Designs.  I have always liked horses, so I picked them to do first.  Again I was looking through the blogs to see if my card would fit any of what they were asking for and I came up with 2.  These are  CES Challenges and also Totally Paper Crafts, I have not entered them before, so it's new for me.

Stamp 'n' Doodle Challenge - Food and/or Drink

Hi Everyone,

I hope your all well, I am and I've never been so happy.  Stamp 'n' Doodle sent me an email asking me to be in there Design Team, I am so happy the smile on my face hasn't gone since I was asked.

So on with my first Challenge with Stamp 'n' Doodle.  The NEW CHALLENGE this week is to use a FOOD/DRINK somewhere in your creation, well that's a good one to start with - you could use an image, papers, embellies or even actual food/drink - cupcake holder, etc.  Just as long as there is some obvious connection to FOOD/DRINK, I'm sure that won't be too hard!!!

Fab 'n' Funky Challenge - Challenge #108 - 'Try Something New'

This weeks been fun, still awaiting a decision from the DVLA regarding letting me drive again, but I suppose I should give them to the end of the week before I start pestering them!!!

I'll tell you that you each used the title 'Love is in the Air' really well, gosh there are a lot of images I want now!!!  I loved how each and everyone of you used them and of course, coloured the images with your chosen medium.  I thought they were amazing.  However, there can only be one Winner, please check out the Fab 'n' Funky Challenge blog to find out if it was you.  But I must thank all of you for you wonderful creations, they were all fantastic.

Now Cross Stitch is not a new thing to me, but it is in the fact I have not done any since my Stroke, I found it difficult because I can only use one arm and hand, and it does happen to be my non-dominant hand. In the end I resorted to using my teeth to pull the needle through.  

It took ages but I am pleased with what I have achieved.

Sketch 'n' Stash - Challenge 80 - Free Choice Sketch

Hi Everyone,

Wow!!!  To wake up this morning Snow, and it looked so beautiful.  The garden at my Mum's looked delightful, but like everything, it had to go.  The snow went so quick and left lots of slushy mess.  Oh well.

Today, I found a Challenge that had been on the system all week, but I decide to enter Sketch 'n' Stash.  It's a really good Challenge, you had to pick a Sketch that you like.  I picked Sketch 42 which was:

Willow Sketchie Challenge - 9th February

Hi Everyone,

I hope you are all well and that you are not suffering too much with cold weather we are having, remember keep warm and keep safe.  Well been at my Mum's today, and we had to take down her fire alarm, this was because her fire alarms were put in by the Local Fire Station and so the battery's cannot be replaced.  Anyway it turns out that when my Mum's hallway gets colder the Fire Alarm begins to beep, so with all this cold weather, guess what happened, cheep, cheep!!!  I mean whoever's heard of a Fire Alarm that appreciates heat,  makes it seem to be a contradiction in terms of what a Fire Alarm was actually designed for!!!

Well anyway, it's Thursday and that means it's time for another Willow Sketchie Challenge.  Firstly, I have got to Congratulate the Winner of our Challenge and the Winner is .......... Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch 140-47and Stamp 'n' Doodle - Use Red as the Main Colour

I'm nice and warm inside, I've seen people outside and they look so cold, I am so happy that I'm warm and inside.  Well I've been looking through the Challenges and I realised that I could do one for Sweet Sketch Wednesday and also one for Stamp 'n' Doodle, so I thought lets combine the both.
