The Sweet Stop Sketches - SSS128

Hi Everyone,

I'm here with my second (to see the first please scroll down) post of today.  Well how are you all doing in this heat, October can't be, we must be living down under!!!  Well for the second post I chose to do a favourite of mine The Sweet Stop Sketches, they are going back to last October getting the Sketches from there.

On with the show then, this is my card (anyone hungry!!):

The Image I chose to do for this one was a lovely Cupcake, and it came from Kanban.  It had been lying around for ages and I had never made a card with it so I thought it was time.  It is coloured in in Polychromos Pencils and then blended with Sansodor.  Of course I finished it off with Glitter!!!  The Design Papers, again I'm sorry I can't remember where they came from, they were in my Stash.  The Sentiment came from the sheet of Cupcakes.  I also added a piece of Ribbon, which came from Create and Craft and also, I added some pink Pearls from Kanban.

I also added some flowers that I already had, and also I punched two sets of leaves, from Woodware which were also added.

I would like to enter this card into The Sweet Shop Sketches - SSS128

I'm off now, not sure how long it will be!!!  x x

Sweet Sketch Wednesday - Sketch 121

Hiya Everyone,

I'm back (good or bad!!!).  No I'm back into card making, Mum's on the mend and home, so I don't need to keep running (okay walking) to the hospital.  Well I thought I'd take part in the Sweet Sketch Wednesday one.  So here goes.

This is my card:

The Image I chose for this one was Little Piggy, this was available on the internet on Sliekje Digi Stamps for FREE!!!  Fantastic, Sliekje is fantastic and we can have her drawings for nothing as she just enjoys drawing them.  I coloured in her design with Polychromos Pencils and blended with Sansodor, looks fantastic (well I think it does).  The Design Papers came from my Stash, so sorry I don't know any names.  I added a lovely flower from my stash and a piece of Ribbon which came from Create and Craft.

To finish off I added the 3 large Gems in orange, wow!!!

Well I'm off now.

Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge - Challenge #3 - Punch it Out

Good Morning All,

Well September went by, and now it's October and so it's time for another Ready-Teddy-Go Challenge.  October with is heat, totally wrong, but I'm sure were all enjoying it!!!

Firstly I have got to congratulate for last month, your cards in the Autumn Colours were lovely, and really enjoyable to look through.  Lots of suggestions were there, so you better watch out in the coming months!!!  But there only has to be one winner, and that is Sue B, so congratulations, I hope you have fun looking through and using your prize.

Secondly I must apologize to you all for not commenting on all of your cards, my Mum was taken into hospital last week (or the week before, things are happening so fast I don't know the day of the week) so please accept my apologies if I didn't comment.  She is home now and so things are getting back to normal, slowly and surely.

Well this months Challenge is 'Punch it Out', and our Sponsor this month is the lovely Kerry from Lady Bug Crafts Ink.

And she is offering the Winner 2 Digi Stamps.  Lady Bug Crafts Ink offer the chance of buying Stamps as well as Embellishments (just 2 mentioned), it's worth going to take a look, I did and I was there for hours looking at all of the crafy stuff.

Well with further ado, here's what I came up with for 'Punch it Out'

For the Image I used a fantastic Teddy Bo Image, he is so cute, and what was better when I ordered it it came fully coloured, bonus!!!  I finished it off with a little bit of Glitter!!!  The Design Papers that I used came from my Stash, so sorry I really don't remember.  One of them was punched out, I used a Martha Stewart punch, I then used another Martha Stewart punch to give me a punch across the middle.  The Sentiment was computer generated.

A Ribbon was then added, along with the Stars and the Gems.

Well it's time for you to go and get CRAFTY!!!
